UPS beeps all the time and it's driving me mad

At first I thought this was due to a dip in the electricity, but now the beeping sound happens consistently. I assumed the noise was coming from the UPS, but actually it is coming from the PC. Does this mean I need to buy a new UPS, maybe one which can handle higher capacity or the battery needs replacement? I don't know anything about these things...

I can't be sure about your particular UPS but, one I have here bleeps when the battery conditions is tailing off, and another beeps when it's running on battery power.

The couple of UPS units I've had used different beep codes so it's best to check your documentation. If you don't have the hard copy the major manufacturers usually have PDFs online.

This usually means the battery is about dead and cannot handle the load.
