Our Content Used on Spammy .online Sites

Found something odd.

When searching our brand name.. I get a lot of spammy results.. It seems someone stole our content and used it on their websites with our brand name... (all .online web urls) and when you click on them you get to adult links. Then at the bottom of the results page you see

"In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 38 already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included."

When I click on the omitted results link. It refreshes the search and I get only good links. None of the .online spammy URLs are shown.

Do you also see these shown in your GSC account as links? I ask because it has happened to a good number of people and it seems to be something the spammy sites do trying to get a boost. Google recognizes that they are not related and removes them pretty quickly.

You might want to check your access logs to ensure they are not showing your content on their sites via iframe, another way to try to rank for others' content.

It was merely an observation for now but thanks. I will check that out. I just find it really strange.
