Removing / moving articles from site to site

Hello,

I own a website that covers many subjects.

Recently i decided to create a new one, focus in only one subject.

What do you think about removing from articles from my website that covers many subjects and publish them on the new website? These articles are not well ranked, some of them don't even show up on the first 10 pages.

what is your intent for the new site?
do you have any inbound links to the existing articles you plan to move?
are you planning to implement url redirects to the new site for those articles being moved?

From my analysis websites that talk about everything rank worst, therefore i decided to create a new websites (maintaining the "old one") about only one subject.

The website has around 1500 articles and I am planning to "move" around 25 articles. I also believe these articles don´t have many backlinks, so i don't think i will implement url redirects.
