Uploading pic to site from Google Photos

Now that Google Photos no longer syncs with Google Drive, how does a user go through the <input type="file"> form and find the picture [s]he wants to upload?

This is a huge annoyance to me, already! I used to take a pic with my phone, wait 2 minutes, then I could use my computer to type up something and attach the photo through Google Drive. But now I can't find it, and I'm not ABOUT to type up 3-4 paragraphs on my phone! If it annoys me, I can only imagine how many of my users are annoyed and confused.

Learned something new. Never realized the feature was there! However I generally manage photos etc myself so never had a reason to look.

Have you found an alternative?

I'm afraid not, and it's been a major pain! It was an awesome feature that I spent 2 years using, so I got used to it. I don't know why they just dropped it, they should have at least given the option to turn it on manually.
