I am not sure if this is the proper section for this. I thought of the affiliate section but this may be better

Anyway, I'm looking to max revenue on my blog. I get around 11k users and 50k views a day. With that type of traffic, how much would you expect to earn per day and through which methods? Obviously Adsense as one, and I have a version of Taboola as well, but what else should I be doing?

Thanks!

It highly depends of your niche, and the profile of your visitors.

My biggest question is wondering how the big boys handle their ad networks. They don't just slap adsense code on a page do they? What about collecting emails and making money that way?

You have to have an ad department and worker bees installed to do more than hanging ads on a page. Can you accommodate that? Without mentioning the site (we generally do not for promotional reasons) there's a major seller of a specialty niche that keeps staff on hand who actually WATCH what users are doing and offer to initiate chat to HELP THEM if the user appears "stuck". Bear in mind their products START at several hundreds per item and go UP from from there.

BTW, I block all their ads, their scripts, and still do business with them. :)

Oh I am definitely not at that level. I guess for now I'll stick with my smaller networks.

What are some other ways (or reading material) on pulling money from different methods? Like tips on integrating amazon links, or an email list, etc

Email lists are generally dead ... unless you can build them yourself by OPT IN from users to your site. Amazon ... well, do a search here on that topic and see what others have to say (it's not pretty). The most reasonable, and doable, thing you might do is seek direct advertisers. You have to seek them out, make the pitch, show the numbers to justify what you want to charge (and they will pay). Better revenue than adsense or affiliates. This is not a paste it and forget it revenue stream.

You have to have the traffic and the content/audience to attract that kind of biz, but if you make the effort, and you have the content to support it, real money can be made.

IT IS NOT EASY ... again, this is not a paste and forget advertising method. It takes work. If you can do it, you'll never look back on the pennies that adsense is paying now.

Use Google Search Console and log-in and Download the SERP results. See your positions and focus on the words from 5-7. Bring them to 1-3
