I'm looking at adding a website chat application on my site. However, I have two questions:

1) Does adding scripts for apps like this effect SEO efforts?
2) According to a Brightcloud website reputation search, this new company have a website which has a "moderate risk" attached to it (which I believe is primarily because it's a new site). However, I'm paranoid that using scripts and linking to a moderate risk site could negatively impact my site?
