SearchEngineLand reports [searchengineland.com] that Bruce Clay Inc. has created a tool for comparing your disavow file against other files, uploaded anonymously. What do you think? Can something like this be exploited?

The tool is crowdsourced from those who sign up with it and it tell you primarily two things:

(1) Whether any backlinks to your site have been disavowed by other participants.

(2) Whether your site has been disavowed by others in the database.

Bruce Clay, the owners of this tool, promise to anonymize the data, so no one can tell the source of those disavowing the URLs within the tool.

The above is just a partial description. There are more details on SEL. Read the full article here. [searchengineland.com]

As with all great ideas, there are great problems as well. I, too, would want the data anonymous, but would REQUIRE that those submitting such data are fully vetted. Otherwise it's just another way to game the system by those who take nefarious shortcuts. (you know who I mean!)
