This question may be a tad naive, but here it goes... ;)
I've launched a widget site over a decade ago. It was REALLY successful, and 90% of the traffic came from Google, due to the great search engine positions we were able to get back in the days.
Last couple of years, I've been occupied with other things, and didn't really pay so much attention to traffic. Past year, I won some of the lost ground back in Google, and noticed that the traffic we get from there is far less compared to the traffic from the early days, even though it is a growing market.
So... is my impression correct that, even though Google is still the market leader, search engine traffic has gone down IN GENERAL? And if so... where is traffic coming from these days? Is it really all about Social Media these days, or is there another component I'm missing?
Thanks!
