What would be the cause of someone not being able to get to a website on their local machine but every other website is accessible? This is a standalone computer and other people at other locations can get to the site. Any thoughts?

Some possibilities
A failure to resolve the name to the correct IP address. e.g. problem with the DNS server they are using.
They are behind a proxy server that limits to what sites they can go (and the site isn't allowed).
They are using some browser security software that is blocking the site.
They are mistyping the address
A place to start would be to ask what error they are getting.
