Does any one know a good stand-alone website uptime monitor? When I say stand-alone, I mean software to run from a local PC, not cloudware. The cloudware out there is nice, but all require monthly fees for as many websites as I need to monitor.

Years ago (right after WIN XP came out) I found a free website uptime monitor that I could put in as many websites as I wanted in it and my PC would monitor their uptime. It worked great. I was running a single personal domain though and the importance of an uptime monitor was lost with me. 10+ years later, the software is lost to me and all I can find on the net are cloud-based uptime monitors.

Does anyone know of uptime monitor software (especially free!) that I can run from my PC (without interacting with 3rd party websites)?
