Eli (founder of MoveOn.org) speaks at TED about what we don't see due to the 'information bubble' around us caused by what tools we use to view the Internet.

"one Google engineer indicated that, even when logged out, 'there are 57 signals that Google looks at...that it personally tailor your query results'"

He mentions they include what city you are in, what type of computer, what type of browser.
