Using my server for my own personal backup cloud

I have three servers in three countries. It occurred to me I could be using them as mirrors/backups for everything on my notebook and desktop. WHat I want is a constantly connected, always updating copy of my local files, on each server. How might I achieve that? Is there open source software to automate the process?

I use Linux on all machines BTW, including my PC/laptop.

Thanks phranque... that's put me in the right direction. rsync looks like it's too steep a learning curve but it appears there are some useful GUIs for it, such as 'Back in Time' for the GNOME front end.
