Looking for a host that can give different IP ranges

Hey all,

I'm looking for a host that can give regular PHP hosting for 40 basic websites, the unusual requirement is that I need each to be on a different IP range, like 192.168.aaa.001 where aaa must at least be different.

I of course can just use a bunch of different hosts but that's painful.

Any contacts/pointers?

i dont think that you can find a name here as name or contact can not be shared/discussed here.

i don't think it would work as you think,
IP blocks are allocated to hosting companies, so even if you had 40 different c class ip addresses then google would still know they all originate from the same hosting company

Agree. There's no hosting company I know of that offers this type of service.

Search Engines are computers, not humans. They treat the IP block as an IP block - not by who owes it. So if it's started clean, kept clean, and maintained clean - they're different IPs.

totally agree! i guess the angle i was going for was that if for some reason the site came under scrutiny, any search engine would know that the ip's were 'connected' even if they were in different c classes.

furthermore as a note to the OP i'd ask why different c classes are required - if it's to prevent anyone associating the sites together i assume all these 40 sites are all registered in different names and distributed amongst several domain name companies, that the Domain Name servers are different for each name, and that there is no standard 'footprint' between the sites (style names, footer links, file naming structure, and many other pointers), etc. etc

There's no hosting company I know of that offers this type of service.

There was one years ago that advertised at pubcon. No idea if they're still around.

Nevertheless, if they don't advertise, there's still hosting companies that have different C classes. I have my colo and a couple of sites on shared hosting with the same company and the IP's are on markedly different addresses. Probably enough to fool the algo, no way enough to fool a hand review.
