Howdy yall.
i was not sure were else to put this question on the forums so please excuse me if it is in the wrong place.
Where would i go to look to learn how to build parts of a website that are only viewable if you have a username and password? part two of that question is what do i do to set it so that users can set their own username and password instead of just having one that everyone uses?

my guess is that Java script is not the answer on this one.
