We used to employ a person on a contract basis to do some of the more complex stuff on our network. He was excellent, I miss him on days like today.
So one day he showed me a DOS command that displayed a list of all the machines on the local network, with the name of the computer and the IP addresses of all the computers on the network.
I cannot remember what it was. Its not NET VIEW, IPCONFIG, which is all I can find by searching Google. I can find other people asking the same question but none of the answers is correct.
Can anybody show off their ancient DOS skills and provide me with the command?
