Most images in my blog all gone missing

Hi All,
Today when I open my wordpress blog, I have noticed that all images which include head image, background images and images in posts are all showing links broken, it is very strange to me, I have never had this problem before. I looked into theme folder, those images are there, what has happened? All I can think is, I have built a few exchange links with others last night, could someone do something to access my server side?

My web hosting is with one of famous hosting company, they provide host multi domains under one directory, I have hosted a few site under one directory, 2 of them are wp blogs, now these two blog are both affected image links broken problem, is there anybody can help please!

First clear your cache, then hit CTRL + F5 to make sure it's not a browser issue.

Right click the page, find the src of one of the images. If you're in FireFocx, just click the crc link from the view source window.

Or, copy and paste the src link into your browser. Use the full url

http ://www.example.com/themes/yourtheme/uploads/images/yourimage.jpg

If you get a permission denied, it means something has changed in the permissions on these directories.

Another thing to check, did you install any software for this program? It may have modified the .htaccess (possibly) but you can check the base href in your template themes. That's all I have.

what is the response status code when you request one of those images?

Hi Guys, Thank you for helping, I tried the things you have suggested, it did not solve problem, Iwhen I tried to download iamge, the image I got is a blank image. Later I noticed all my addon site images are having broken links, so I contacted my hosting server, after one day you solved probblem, I don't know what is the problem, it is on their server.
