Hi - I have been invited to participate in a beta version of CloudFlare, but don't like the legal requirements to join. Does anyone know about this and have any thoughts to share about it? Thank you. - Grandma_genie

Hi grandmagenie,
I actually work at CloudFlare & would be more than happy to address any concerns you have over the legal terms (we're currently in beta & will have a launch later this month). I can be reached at damon@cloudflare.com.
A couple of places where you can read customer reviews about CloudFlare:
Hi Damon - I actually wanted to hear from someone who did not work for CloudFlare, since anyone who works for the business in question would have questionable motives. I don't like the idea of giving anyone a power of attorney for any reason, even a limited one. This idea is a bit over my head, so I think I will pass on signing up for the beta version. But the idea is a worthy one, considering the Internet has become a haunt of virtual criminals who do much damage. A business is only as good as the people who run it, so be sure the people who handle your accounts are responsible and do more than just talk a good talk, but also walk a good walk. -- Grandma_genie

Hi grandma_genie,
Since the site is still very much in a private beta, with a public launch coming very soon, I believe that not many members of this particular forum have not heard about the service just yet (which is why I tried to point to outside reviews not written by us).
If you do decide to join down the road, however, I will be more than happy to have the power of attorney concern addressed to allay any concerns (lawyers generally write things scarier than they actually are).

Agreed. One of my earlier startup adventures had to battle criminals a great deal & that was one of the reasons I joined here.
