A Redditor made it known that reddit wouldn't run their prop19 ad.

Reddit blamed it on Conde Nast.

Conde told them "they didn't want to make money from that industry", ...or something like that.

Reddit decided to run the ads for free, changed the /r/pics background to a pro-prop19 image, yada yada.

/r/tress and probably the rest of the marijuana reddits are apparently on lockdown. I tried to post a question. It looked like my submission worked but the post was no place to be found.
