It seems that the city of philadlephia is requiring bloggers to have a business license. Most likely this is directed at those making a few bucks from adsense on their blogs.

I suppose it would also apply to other websites that generate any affiliate or advertising revenue.

The business privilege licenses is $300 per year.

It may just be me, but this seems to be a bit desperate on the part of Philadelphia.
