is another language duplicate content?

Hi all
just a quickie.....Is another site that is exactly the same as one of my sites but completely in a different language considered duplicate content?
I want to keep the site and also improve on it but if george see's it as duplicate content then it must go.
IMO it is not? what are your thoughts..thanks

IMHO I don't think they would pick it up as duplicate content.
For it to do so it would have to translate pages to compare them, and automated translation is still notoriously unreliable.
But if you are worried, you could always disallow one set from being included from being indexed.
