What may be crawling mysite slash possible unsafe site

something is crawling a site of mine with this strange string a subdir

i have started logging 404 errors on a site that look like this:

mysite.com/___possible__unsafe__site__

the user-agent is:

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1)

searching the web for this string containing underscores returns a bunch of confusing results.

any ideas?

these hits are coming from different IPs, too.

perhaps this doesn't go without explicitly saying so...

the site is certainly safe. this is a new site i built for a customer on a new domain. their primary site is linking to this domain from the top level navigation. the primary site has quite a lengthy history and is hosted on the same IP.

my username here is the same as my twitter handle. no funny stuff going on, here.
