Hi, Im sorry if this is the wrong place to post. I have a wordpress blog that I installed a plugin on that was suppesto 301 or 302 redirect certain pages to sites that I choose. For example a page on my site to link to my facebook page, etc.

I am not sure if there was an error in the plugin or what happened. But my entire domain has been forwarded to this random link within my site.

I can no longer access my home domain. I have gone in and dissabled my .htaaccess file and this did not stop the redirect. I have contacted the creator of this plugin with no response.

Any help letting me know where I might look for the source of the redirect would be much appreciated.

I installed [a] plugin.
my site http://example.com automatically forwards to http://example.com/most-recent-posts/

Any assistance is much appreciated.

Thank you, Sara

Hi Sara, first of all a warm welcome to WebmasterWorld!

If you have ftp access to your site you may be able to rename the files of the plugin from your Wordpress plugin directory. The files are probably located in wp-content/plugins/ You can rename them with another extension than .php which would also stop them from being parsed by Wordpress.

If Wordpress after the renaming doesn't work at all, you can rename them back to with the .php and post here again to see if there are other possibilities to help you.
