I have installed WEbstat on my site and I'am trying to block specific users from the Philippines from browsing my websites. I was able to identify their IP addresses and their internet service provider. However I have noticed that from time to time that same service ISP is still accessing my site, using a different IP address. Usually the first 3 codes are the same and the only one that changes is the last code.

At first it will be 222.127.223.74 then the next time it will be 222.127.223.75 or 222.127.223.77.....

I usually put one IP address at a time using the IP Deny Manager of my control panel ( Justhost.com ), but if I wanted to block his ISP should I just place the first three codes (222.127.223.***) and leave the last one blank so that the whole IP ranges will be blocked?

I'am afraid that if I do that I will be blocking other users from another country.

In general, IP address ranges are not that fragmented. It is highly doubtful that blocking 256 addresses as you propose here would block more than one ISP, much less block more than one country.

I can't answer your question about your control panel. Perhaps your host has a help page describing how it works. Or go to the control panel maker's site and look there for documentation.

"IP Deny Manager" sounds like a cPanel control panel configuration. In that case you can add ranges by entering the start and end IP address with a hyphen character (-) in between, for example:

111.111.111.74-111.111.111.77

will block the IP addresses from 111.111.111.74 to 111.111.111.77
