Using capitalization in titles

Hello,

I don't like to use capitalization in titles. I never use Widget Product Reviews or WIDGET PRODUCT REVIEWS, but Widget product reviews because it is the correct way in my opinion. Looking at the new data published by Google via Webmaster tools I have a feeling I could improve my CTR using one of the two capitalization methods. Also, looking at the serps, capitalized titles do seem to stand out a bit compared to non capitalized.

What do you think? Do you use non capital, First Letter Caps or ALL CAPITALS?

Title Case looks a lot better to me than ALL CAPS. I normally use Title Case for my titles.

Don't forget that you can use

text-transform

in CSS to style the way your title (and other text) is displayed.

I am not sure if the OP is referring to the title tag or the h1 tag.

For the latter I would use Title Case. For the former a mixture as in:

"Widget Web Site - all about widgets"

I prefer Title Case, personally, and view all cap as rude/crude... and I think folks of my generation (60+) probably feel the same. However, the kiddies out there seem to have different tastes, having grown up with mobiles, txting, and all that short speak... Might be a demographic thing and dependent upon the site content as well.

That said, whatever works is what one uses!
