I would like to know if someone has noticed any decline in traffic from the recent holidays i.e good friday and up-coming easter holiday. It will be better if you guys can share your traffic decline in percentage.

I have observed more decline in my website traffic recently, may be this is because of these holidays............ any idea.......... and when this decline will start to recover

Hello xuberantguy, and welcome to the forums.

It's really going to depend on the market niche, I think, -- except that many people browse the web from work and they had a holiday for Good Friday. I have one site that depends on leisure time visitors and it's popping right now - up nearly 20% in visits and more like 30% in sales over last Friday.

I'm sure it does depend upon the niche.

I'm being hit with a double whammy. Traffic to my site usually declines when the weather is nice, as my site is geared to outdoors types. With that and the holiday weekend, my page views declined 25% from last Sunday to yesterday, and visitors declined about 10%. Visits were shorter and with fewer page views.

Sales from my site also dropped from pretty good to nothing.

There wasn't anything like this happening last year. A slight decline in traffic around the Easter holiday, but not much, and sales stayed steady.
