Hey guys,

I recently noticed my content is hidden to spiders (as if written in javascript) but I only use plain text/html and no image text. It was originally not hidden and I have many other blogs using the same theme without a problem. I've disabled all plugins to NO avail. I really can't remember the last thing I did before the content became invisible to spiders.

Could someone please take a look at the source to see if I'm missing something please. I don't know what to look for that could be hiding the content to spiders?

Thanks,
Lou

have you tried a "Fetch as Googlebot" [googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com]?

No but can't wait for that to be released. Unless it already is? I couldn't find it on that page.

"Fetch as Googlebot" is part of Google Webmaster Tools (in the "Labs" section on the LHS). You'll need to register your site if you haven't already:

Let's start with the symptom... What specifically makes you think the content is invisible to spiders?

Fixed.. I hadn't specified height or width attributes to my header image and somehow it was covering my content.

Thanks to all above and webmasterworld

It would not have been 'hidden' to spiders. They don't 'view' a page; they read the source code. Visiting the Google cache for the page and selecting 'show text only' would have shown they can see the text.
