Hi everyone,

I'm going to start developing a site that where users will need to be able to login to manage profiles, content submissions, etc. I basically need a standard login / account management system that should also talk to forum software (so if I install vBulletin forums the user's site login will also log them into the forum).

I'm sure there's software out there that does this (whether hosted or installed on my server). Any recommendations? Preferably free... :)

I've been searching around but can't find one, maybe I'm not searching for the right thing...
