Need Help on Download Script

Pls I am working on a site for a friend. Dis site is a site where people can download a particular software.pls I need d script to embed round the link to the software such that when people click on the link it allows them to download. But before downloading .it requires them to pay some amount for d software before they download.pls help. prefarably JAVASCRIPT OR PHP

It sounds like you need a shopping cart or e-commerce system. This is a system you would need to install and setup on the server. You could also look at using 3rd party solutions to handle the billing and fulfillment issues off-site.

thanks alot.i have bn browsing through carts for few hours nw.pls do u particularly know of any free shopping cart that would meet my need.dat would enable buyers download d software after d payment as bn made

Hi Mailtimi,

What you need to do this is Joomla with Virtuemart component. All of it is free, problem is that it can be very complexe. I've been working with Joomla for years but still learning!

thanks alot.neva new joomla was capable but i have neva tried joomla b4.i guess i would give it a shot

If you use Firefox and install a dictionary, it will underline most of these.

Also, sentences should begin with a capital letter and end with a full-stop (period) followed by a space or linebreak.

Do you need your own script (and merchant account), or could you use an outside service to do the payment processing for you?
