Problem for install Kaspersky!

I recently try to install Kaspersky Internet security 2009 to install on my computer, as I had Ifram virus attacked my website last week, my previous anti virus AVG 8 free version did not seem to block it, so I decide to change to Kaspersky.

But I had a big problem to install it. I removed AVG, I tried several times installation, Kaspersky installation always stop running by the stage to go to configuration wizard, the configuration does not run at all! Their support line is very poor service, they only work 9-5 day time, not evening, not weekend, tel tech support only can get answer machine, eventually I got call through to a real person last Friday day time, all I get is an email required to check my system detail to then send report back to them, I did on Friday, but person emailed back said will be out of office, will be back on Tuesday, what a ridiculous serviice.

I am not here for complaint Kaspersky, only want to know is anyone had same problem for the sofeware installation

Also I wany to go to my register editor, when I type regedit in Start->Run, nothing happened, the register window doesn't open! any idea what is the problem, and any solution?

I know that problems often occur because the original AV tools leave footprints on the system, even after successful uninstallation.

I have done that, downloaded AVG8, runremove.bat on my machine, then installed kaspersky again, still the same result - configuration wizard did not run.
