I have been shooting panoramas for my travel/location sites.

I was putting the image in an iframe with scrolling to display them. Works great in ie7, but the image gets shrunk to the size of the iframe in Firefox (and probabaly other browsers as well). You have to click it to make it full size so you can scroll it.

I had looked into the sizing issue and there just doesn't seem to be a solution.

What is the best way to display a scrollable panorama on your pages? I'm willing to purchase licenses/software if necessary although open source/freeware would be wonderful in today's economy.

Thanks in advance for any ideas/thoughts.

I just put up 50 on my site... can't give the url here but here is what I used.

1) Microsofts deep zoom technology. They offer a free utility to stitch the images and will save in the Deep Zoom format:

[research.microsoft.com...]

The utility did not do a good enough job stitching my handheld panoramas so I actually bought Autopano to stitch the images and I used Microsofts HD utility to create the deep zoom images
