you know those ads, where the person walks onto the screen and starts jabbering about whatever... and its usually very loud so it freaks you out and you turn down the volume...?

are those just flash files with transparent background set to like Z-index:1; ?

how to they appear and dissapear? you couldnt bring out then hide a div tag..

anyone got a deeper explanation for how these work?
