How to make squidoo or hubpage work for my site?

Hi, I have set upsome lens at squidoo, but there is nearly no visitors o my lens, and don't mention aobut back linksto my sites, google never notice it.

Does it mean if I set up a len then I should use extra hours to work on my lens every week?

If so, is it worth to spend extra hours on squidoo instead of spending all hours on my own sites?

Squidoo is very nice, but nothing beats working on your own site's content. I'd go as far as submitting the lenses you've made to various groups on Squidoo and make sure they are a good read, but your time will be better spent making sure your own site is useful and optimised.

SO if I want my lens get noticed by Google and audience, I should post some articles on squidoo's groups

That, and focusing on content that is original, accurate, timely and well written - ideally for an audience with enough disposable income to afford what you promote...

Indeed, Squidoo is very nice. But does it help to leverage the value of your site, or is the opposite true?
