The latest figures from search market share monitor Hitwise shows Google with a record 66 percent share of Web searches in the United States.That's up seven percent from a year ago. Meanwhile, Yahoo's share dropped from 21.6 percent to 20.9 percent, Microsoft's dropped from 9.8 percent to just over 7 percent and Ask has risen from 3.7 percent to just over 4 percent.

i know google is top dog but i know more people who use yahoo/comcast/aol variation than "google" itself.
I don't, and my own referrer statistics suggest that the other search engines are like rural poor folk who subsist on the vegetables that AgriCorp's harvesting machines leave behind. Still, Hitwise probably has a better handle on the search engines' market shares than we do.
Do the above count as "searches" and included in the 66% stats?
