Help creating CSS based drop down menu with image rollover buttons

I am attempting to create a drop down menu system in CSS that is:

-Compatible with at least IE win/mac & firefox (perhaps with a little javascript)

-Allows me to use images as the primary navigation buttons, and switch them for rollover effects

Something similar to suckerfish and similar menus, except that it allows me to use images as the buttons, and place regular text links in the center of them.

I'm having trouble with it, if you can help, I'd appreciate it!

I'd recommend the CSS Forum [webmasterworld.com].

You will probably get a much better answer.

Be prepared to post some of what you have tried or how you think it might work so they can give you some advice or point you in a direction... It's usually tough to just 'give the answer' when you're not sure where someone is starting from.
