does it help in indexing?

since my pr has gone to hell, and i'm now the invisible widget store, i was thinking that it may be a good time to re-organize my site structure.

i was wondering if i forwarded my widget store categories to titled subdomains (and then moved my associated content to the subdomain) if my site would show up with the categoried subdomains in the index under the main site listing? (assuming my site shows up in google again someday)?

Creating subdomains in palce of folders is justlike dividing your site among a bunch of new domains.

That is unlikely to help in SEO: duplicate SEO required, duplcate marketing etc.

And if there's a problem that's upsetting Google, you are spreading that problem over multiple domains.

Much better to try and find out what's been going wrong.
