Social Bookmarking Links

Just noticed the social bookmarking links on the BBC. Are you use them as the BBC is doing with links on almost every page?

These sites allow you to store, tag and share links across the internet. You can share these links both with friends and people with similar interests. You can also access your links from any computer you happen to be using.

They link to del.icio.us, digg, reddit, stumbleupon, and... facebook?

I wouldn't classify facebook as a social bookmarking site. Isn't it more of a social networking site (as in, myspace)?
But to answer your question, no I don't have social bookmarking links on every single page. Maybe I should.

This is pretty new to the BBC but it does raise some questions. Not sure how popular it is, or how useful from a webmasters point of view.
