I have created a site which has got 100,000 news articals and therefore 100,000 web pages but when I put in google site:example.com it only shows that 800 pages. The same is also true on yahoo where it has only got 2,000 pages.

I have a fair amount / increasing links on the site and content has been increasing daily so I only started with a few hundread pages 6 months ago, the site has been up for six months now and has not increased since the first month, does anybody have advise on how to make the site get indexed quicker as I have no ideas?

Maybe the search engines aren't counting your duplicate articles. 100,000 articles can't all be unique.

Either way, there is no quick way to get indexed.

draw some traffic to it by spreading the buzz around on social networks, bookmarking sites and so on. Get reviewed by a famous blooger. this will increase the credibility towards your site. Start blogging on this topic on blogs that cover similar topics. And don't forget to leave the URL there! That's the way to draw a portion of the blogs traffic. Best of luck!

they are rss feeds, so you could be right in respect to that, but I do have another site which has the same kind of build and that has 21,000 pages index out of 30,000.
