Hi there,

Its my first post on here so take it easy on me please, I was just wondering how I would go about sending an email from a sub domain, I have seen a few people do it but I am not sure how to go about it. I use web mail through my servers cpanel rather than outlook.
so instead of:
email@example.com it could read email@jobs.example.com

First, create the subdomain.

Then it depends a little on how the domains are set up. Does the subdomain appear as any kind of option ...?

no problem on creating the sub domain, done DNS same ip throughout the site and set up and set up through cpanel listing the sub domains, but when setting up email through godaddy or web based mail on cpanel, I dont get any option to do this.

Sorry, that's me out of ideas; once I've got the d or sub-d, my host adds it to the list for email options, like any other.

Looks like a long dialog with the 'help' desk ...
