I have purchased a script similiar to the million dollar home page,The purpose of this to get websites to place an advert with a link to thier website, the script uses a 302 to go to the advertisers website, I have read a lot regarding 302 but cant work out if just by using it can be classed as hijacking. I dont have the knowhow to change this, so would I be better to put a robot no follow tag which is not really what I want to do but I certainly dont want to harm either my site or advertisers site.

302 can hurt the site being linked to. I've seen domain Registrars' free redirect services hijack websites (using 302s), and I've also seen such scripts as the one you're using do the same.

Best to avoid the 302 altogether, however, if you can't be sure to tell the robots to stay f-a-r away ;)
