phpBB is a free download.

well,I search for the board only.
I'm not interested to the hosting service.
I already experimented free forum hosting services with very disappointing results.
So I would own my own board to install on my own host.

you can install phpbb on your own server. its all open source code, so you can change everything around in it as well.

where I can find it:

I went on phbbforums.biz but no download available.
Google search displayed only phbb based free forum hostings...
