Not sure if this is the right area to post this but here goes.

In both linked in and facebook, there is a feature that allows you to search your email address to see if any of your contacts are already members. Is it possible for me to do this for my site as a way for getting members to invite their contacts or does linked in and facebook have a deal with the email client providers?

Any help would be appreciated.
