The content is actually NOT adult in nature, I don't do websites like that. But it occurs to me that many of these kids are logging in from school and then unsupervised at home. There has to be net nanny software or something like that in those situations.
So my idea is to purposely flag my site as adult which will do half the work for me, or at least slow them down a little. I don't have any advertising on the site so I don't care how that affects me (ie. adsense doesn't allow placement on adult sites) I got the idea when someone complained they could read the text but not see the images on the site and it turned out to be their school firewall.
Is there meta data I can place on the pages or a registry somewhere that I can put in the domain name that will cause it to be blocked?
Thanks for any advice!
ICRA - the basics
ICRA is about choice not censorship.As a web author, we invite you to use our system to describe, that is, label, your online content in a way that can be processed by computers...
<meta http-equiv="pics-Label" content='(pics-1.1 "http://www.icra.org/pics/vocabularyv03/" l gen true for "http://example.com" r (n 2 s 2 v 3 l 2 oa 1 ob 1 oc 1 od 1 oe 2 of 1 og 1 oh 1 c 2) gen true for "http://www.example.com" r (n 2 s 2 v 3 l 2 oa 1 ob 1 oc 1 od 1 oe 2 of 1 og 1 oh 1 c 2))' />
Ha! That wouldn't even be tolerable for sane adults.
If filters don't block that, they aren't doing their job.
This should be interesting.

Hopefully the filters do it on a per page basis.
I have other sections of the site like a news page that I won't censor.
I have a friend whose whole site was accidentally filtered out because of one page on his site. He couldn't figure out why his site was "banned" from Google, which it wasn't. It got "unfiltered" when he removed that page.

Deciding what label(s) you needHave a quick look at the ICRA vocabulary (see Next Steps below). Decide whether your website can be described by a single label or whether you wish to apply different labels to different sections of your site. If you have a guestbook or message board, for example, you may want to label that section separately as containing user-generated content rather than applying a single description to the whole site. The ICRA system makes this easy to do.
