If you wanted a static and simple website though, I'd highly recommend it. For a purely informational website, this would work.
The catch with the free version of the service is that there is no real HTML editing. You have to use their dumbed down back end. For a home user, this is great. For someone who wants to tweak the code, you won't be happy.
If your idea of SEO is putting up great content and nothing else, this service is perfect.
The other downside is that you can't use these websites to do any real community building. No forums of any kind. Bummer.
If you've got a grandmother who wants a website or you want to set up a website for your kid, then I highly recommend this service.
