I have a windows/apache webserver setup and running. I also have a home 1gb network with 4 computers.

Currently my dsl comes into my modem then to a switch. Out of the switch to 2 routers. One for the webserver and another router for the local lan. That setup works fine.

I currently transfer files to the webserver by an external 2.5" hd. I transfer files that are to big and slow by ftp.

I would like to put the webserver on the local lan. I have tried with the webserver on the same router and can access the webserver files but then can't access the webserver via the internet.

Is this something where I need 2 network cards, one for the internet and one for the local lan? If that is the case how do I setup 2 cards?
