Site moved to new host but still some traffic goes to old host
its now more than 3 months

I moved my site to a new host and changed dns but i am still receiving some traffic to old host where site files are still present. Over 3 months are passed, how long it will take to fully propagate dns changes? I have never faced this situation with my any other site in past.

I had a similar problem and wasn't even aware of it until someone mentioned they were getting the old site. The old host also provided ISP services and the owners of the site had a plan with them for both hosting and ISP. Anyhow they never cancelled the hosting package so anyone using that particular ISP got the old pages.

Is the traffic definitely going to your domain name, not to a sub domain at the hosting service?
I started with mysite.myisp.com and still get people going there despite having pointed the domain there for years then having the domain hosted elsewhere for years.

Actually i also have account with old host and all files of site are still present so currently i don't lose traffic but in future i'll close account with old host so i want to get 100% traffic on new host.

Just to clarify, I'm not saying that IS the problem. Just a possibility. A quick check of the stats on the server should confirm if that is the problem.

this problem is widespread because in logs of old host i get hits from every part of the world not just single ISP. :(
