Best way to Relaunch a website?

Popular site, gained an odd reputation, relaunch?

Hello fellow webmasters,

So I've got an odd half-problem. The site I work on is successful, the most popular community of its kind, but not by much. There are probably 3 competitor sites not much smaller than my own...

Logically, it would be nice to takeover this market share.

The thing is, my site offers a lot of introductory guides, and this seems to be our main attraction. Thus our community is filled with a lot of immature young people.

Anybody have any experiences with this kind of thing?

What would be your suggestions?

By "immature," do you mean too young to have credit cards? Or so young that they have to have a parent's permission to join your community?

Right in between those two I'd say, with an eyeballed 98% male population.

But you brought up an interesting point; I checked our settings, and now have enabled a cookie so children who need parental permission can no longer go back and redo their form, adding a year to their birth day.
