From USA Today

Microsoft (MSFT) agreed Wednesday to pay Iowans up to $180 million to settle a class-action lawsuit that said the company had a monopoly that cost the state's citizens millions of dollars extra for software products.

Makes me wonder if this settlement opens up a huge can of worms for Microsoft? If they are paying this much to Iowa...what is to stop other states from coming after Microsoft on similar anti-trust claims?

The window of opportunity on that action has passed.
The majority of the other states were part of the settlement with the US govt.
