I have some .avi file I would like to put into my blogger blog, how would I do this, is there a free tool out there which can help do this task

The easiest way to embed movies is to use the on-line hosting sites like Google Video, YouTube and the like. They have easy to add tools / code that you can simply copy and paste into your pages.

I used google video to put some video into a blog last year. It was pretty easy. Once I created an account and uploaded it to my account, the google video site gave me some javascript to paste into my blog. That's it. I'm sure youtube and others are exactly the same and just as easy. nb: you can set it so that anyone can see the video, or only you, or your site. I discovered that people were sharing my video and downloading it, but bypassing my blog and going straight to g video. I didn't see how that helped me any, so I disabled that feature. Now the only way to see it is to come to my site and click "play". Well, why shouldn't I set it up that way? It's my copyrighted stuff. (I know there are workarounds to steal video even in this situation but for 99% of surfers this works).
