Hey, I just recently converted my phpbb forum to a IPB Forum. Since I kept my old forum as www.domain.com/forum when I was installing the IPB so I installed my forum as /board. Now I need to know how to change it to forum, I tried renaming the folder "board" to "forum" but when I try to go anywhere else rather than the main page it goes to www.domain.com/board/somthing.
Anyone know how I would go about doing this?

I'm not particularly familiar with IPB, but usually there will be a place in the administrative control panel where you need to set the full path to the forum so the system can generate the correct URLs.

You'll need to manually edit the config file I think. If not, then use mod_rewrite - keep the board at 'board' but rewrite the URLs so that 'forum' work as well...

I just ended up reinstalling the forum since I really hadn't done anything to it yet and it was probably easier.
