hosting on diff. c-block-IP addresses? very expensive?

How expensive are hosting plans that allow you to host your sites on different c-block I.P. addresses? Would this make any sense or would one be better off buying 2-3 "ordinary" hosting plans with different companies?

It all depends on the number of sites you are looking to host. If it is only a few sites, then just spread your hosting across different companies.
